Incorporated in September 1997, IBAIA is the Association of Independent Production Companies of the Basque Country. At present, it has 41 member companies which work in the various spheres of the Basque audiovisual sector.
IBAIA aims at fostering, promoting and improving the defence of audiovisual production interests as well as representing and defending the professional and business interests of the sector before all kinds of individuals, organisations and entities, both public and private, and especially before the National, Regional, Provincial, Local and Institutional Public Administration.
- Last productions/Projects/Programmes:
The 8th Co-Production Forum of documentaries will be held on Friday 28th September 2012 within the 60 San Sebastian Film Festival (www.sansebastianfestival.com). The main aim of this Forum is to provide a meeting point for professionals from the audiovisual and film industry (distributors, producers, institutions and commissioning editors) in order to promote co-production relationship among producers from the European regions.
