- Camaradas (Comrades): we are currently working on “Camaradas” ("Comrades") by Sabin Egilior, an intense investigative documentary telling the story of the small group of people across Europe in the 1930s and 1940s, who kept up a clandestine struggle against the rising tide of fascism that was to lead to the Spanish Civil War and the Second World War. The end of the Spanish Civil War marked the beginning of a long underground struggle in Europe against fascism, involving comrades from many different countries. With suspense and emotion, this documentary tells the story of their tactics, alibis, safe houses, spies, internal purges, arrest, moles, police, betrayals… and the constant hounding of a repressive dictatorship
