SOMUGA PRODUKTORA S.L. was established in the year 2005 as an animation production company for film and television. It is situated in Andoain a few kilometres away from San Sebastián.
Somuga creates and produces projects for TV series and feature animation films. These projects are developed in our animation studio allowing the contribution of different artists, both writers and character designers. After that, it searches for financing by presenting them at international markets, festivals and correspondent institutions. Once a part of the the finances have been obtained, Somuga shares the project with other studios that want to be involved.
- Projects:
Somuga has just finished a long feature animation film called AROUND THE WORLD FOR FREE. and is now producing GARTXOT, an animated short about a minstrel. At the same time Somuga is developing two projects, selected by the Cartoon Forum. The first is Captain Vegeto, coproduced with Basora Animation. And the newest one is The Howoldies, an animation series composed of 78 one minute animation episodes set in a world where the characters are numbers.
