You can see the result at http://www.thecoffeebreak.biz/. - ALMOST 18
ALMOST 18 It´s a socio-cultural action and non-formal education programme aimed at adolescents, with the objective of inviting them to participate as active citizens in the definition of the world in which they live: their values, their interests and concerns etc.
Among the several activities which ALMOST 18 comprises of is the taller (workshop) device and the use of the TIC's and the (new) mass communication as a channel and a work platform.
Against this background, the ALMOST 18 project is organized in an action platform that promotes the participation of the adolescents in the creation of audio-visual media for TV programmes and other platforms like webTV or mobileTV, from a collaborative, educational, experimental and multimedia approach.
If nowadays the mass-media corporations and communications groups make their content-programming looking for the audience, the next alternative of future in the mid term will be to create their own audience by generating affinity and synergies with the costumers, connecting with them by producing affective and intellectual links.
