Signo Digital - Art Frame is a Bilbao (Spain) based audiovisual company specializing in the production of TV documentaries and series. Our projects include documentaries on art, fashion and architecture such as: El Arte de la moda (The Art of Fashion), Arquitectura en España (Spanish Architecture), El Enigma Balenciaga (The Balenciaga Enigma), Calle Estafeta (Estafeta Street), Juan Huarte, el último mecenas (Juan Huarte, The Last Patron). We also have a considerable track record in documentary series, including España, entre el cielo y la tierra (Spain, Between Earth and Sky, TVE). - Basque Hotel: The Basque Hotel starts off as a literary journey for a group of writers who share the United States as their common ground, set against the backdrop of Basque emigration. The 50 minute documentary will revolve around the Diaspora and how the Basques have evolved since they first appeared on the ranches of North America leading up to their cultural contributions in the 21st century. It contrasts the experience of five writers: Robert Laxalt, Joseba Zulaika, Bernardo Atxaga, Asun Garikano and Kirmen Uribe who lead us on this journey where we discover how Basques tended animals at first, more out of need than vocation, and how current generations look at things differently.
